We've had a busy month since school started!!!!

I keep meaning to update y'all on Miss Aubrey since her surgery. There really hasn't been much to speak of because she is doing absolutely great. I swear we used to be at the damn clinic once a month with her for something. I think we've been maybe twice since May with one of those times being for a school physical. I am so glad we got the doctors to do the surgery!!! Anyway, like I said, I keep meaning to tell you guys how wonderful the experience since the surgery has been. We would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

Nicole is loving kindergarten and the bus. We just got our first progress report and she got all S's and O's. We are due for parent/ teacher conference sometime in November.

Aubrey is loving school this year too. I don't have to sneak out of the class like I had to all last year. She tells me good-bye and gives me a kiss- it's great!

We are heading to Pittsburgh at the end of the month! We're going up to attend Grandma Beardsley's 80th bday party and it happens to fall on the day after Halloween. I'm a little sad that we won't be here for all the festivities that we enjoy every year with Madeline and fam, but we'll be here next year! And Nicole will get to trick-or-treat with her boyfriend/ cousin Mitchell so she's very excited!

Dance Class Warm-Up Video

I had to record the girls because when they demonstrated their "pointing and flexing" the other night Aub did this crazy stuff with her hands....like it was the only way to get her feet to point and flex. We found it pretty entertaining and I did my best to get her to do it on video!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Our annual field trip with the preschool. The weather was gorgeous and the the 3 year olds behaved quite well. Aubrey fell in love with this one goat and refused to pet any others.

Military Appreciation Day at the Zoo

The Norfolk Zoo hosts a free day for military every year. The zoo isn't that great, but anything for free we are totally up for! Most of the animals were actually out, but I wasn't able to get any pictures due to the crowds.....it was packed!!!

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice last weekend! It was a great show- the kids loved it. It did the movie Cars, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and then ended with the second half completely Tinker Bell and all of her new fairy friends.

Nicole's 1st Soccer Game

GO KNIGHTS!!!

Going into our third game our record is 1-1.....they won their first game, lost their second yesterday. It's quite entertaining and the kids have a blast! Aunt Abby is coming down to watch her play next weekend- fun!!

Neptune Festival

We finally went to the Neptune Festival for the first time since we have lived here. It was great! Tons of crafts & vendors along the boardwalk and lots of gigantic sandcastles. We will definitely go again next year!
