The Neptune Festival
We went to the Neptune Festival yesterday.....add it to the list of fun things to do around here! The sandcastle above was my personal favorite. It was called "Dancing With The Stars"--- loved it!!!

We celebrated Aub's 4th birthday last weekend......as usual it was a 3 day event filled with fun activities!

Ahhhhh, finally!
So I've sat here for approx 3 hours this morning finishing up an update on the blog.
Where you need to begin to get caught up---
There are some posts under the May link (you will find that to the right under Sophie's pic) that I have added pictures to- the soccer post as well as the Busch Gardens post. Then every post in July, August, and September are new. LOTS of pictures! I apologize for totally lagging. I know a lot of you haven't seen pictures of us in for-ev-er and that's just not cool. So I am finally caught up and hopefully (fingers crossed) I don't lag out again and let months go by.
Latest is--- summer is over!!! Booooo!!! Fall is creeping up on us fast. I swear we went from scorching hot to wearing hoodies all within a week. Crazy!
We didn't have too busy of a summer. The girls spent some time in Pittsburgh with Grandma & Pap. And then we did our usual fun stuff around here. We spent a lot of time at our pool across the street-- love it!!! And that's really it. You can see what else we were up to in the posts below.
I started school a few weeks ago and my classes are lame! Well, one of my teachers is lame anyway. Too much work! But I've figured out the minimum I need to do each week to still have a good grade in her class. We'll see how well the semester has gone come December when it's over. I don't think I'll be taking two classes at once again. I'm too busy with other things to dedicate that much time to it.
We are coaching soccer again. That starts next week. The girls are in dance again too, but this year they are in different classes so it's not as convenient.....but they like it so we are doing it! Mike is playing softball again and the team is much much better this time. We only won 3 games last season and so far we've only lost 1 this season. Much funner- that's for sure!
Mike is up for orders and we are anxiously waiting to see what happens. You know, we always go into it thinking we have it all figured out and that we know where we are going to end up. Not counting on anything this time.....fingers crossed we stay here, but our luck with orders we'll probably end up somewhere totally different! I will keep you all posted!!!
Aubrey will be turning 4 soon....we have her bday party and Nicole's first soccer game next weekend. Grandma & Pap will be coming to town for the festivities!
We are on the countdown to the big wedding in Mexico. Can't wait! Looking forward to getting out of town for a week and we can't wait for the wedding-- so excited for Abby & Jeff :)

Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon
A few months ago Abby called and asked Mike if he would like to run the 1/2 marathon with her. Of course he thought she was nuts, but agreed to do it.....and it turned out to be a pretty fun experience. They enjoyed the challenge---- and Kristin, the girls, and I enjoyed cheering them on as they ran by. Looking forward to them doing it again next year!
