Back at the blog again. If you look under this post there's a few more with pictures that let you know what we have been up to lately. Busy as usual!
Ms. Aub has been having a tough time with her ears (another infection, 3rd since the new year), but I'm happy to report that we finally got a referral to an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist. We will head there in the beginning of March. I'm taking her to her regular dr on Friday to make sure the latest infection has gone away. I'm guessing it hasn't because she's been in her super crabby mode for a couple of weeks now and that usually indicates something is going on with her. We'll see!
Mike's starting his work with the ship that he'll go underway with in April.
Nicole is doing well in school, as always, and will be celebrating her 100th day in a couple of weeks (they are having a party in class).
Pretty sure we are headed to Pittsburgh for Easter. I think we are going to drop the girls and head back by ourselves (yeah!).....let them have a fun spring break at Grandma & Pap's.
We officially have plane tickets to CA! We'll be there in June. Can't wait to see everyone!
Oh, we have purchased a webcam and have been Skype- ing! If any of you do it and would like to chat with us, our thing is under mnkbeardsley. It's been fun. We've talked to Grandma Cyndy a couple of times and briefly talked to our old neighbors that live in Italy now. Hope to "see" more of you soon!
So that's it. You are updated!!!

Monster Jam
Don't ask me why, but I went along with the idea to take the girls to the monster truck show last weekend. Mike has been bugging me to go since we moved here so I gave in and decided they might actually enjoy it. They did, the girls had a fun time. We took Madeline along with us and Jordan (from school) and her Dad & sis joined us. The show kind of sucked. Not only did we get shafted on the price by 20 bucks (we got overcharged [the guys were in charge of buying tickets])..but for the 2 hours we were there, there was maybe 20 minutes of monster truck action. Oh, and the place was filled with underage kids that were drunk and dressed up as hicks. Been there, done that, never doing it again!
Valentine's Day!
Sophiticus- The new addition
Here she is..... Miss Sophie!
We've had her for 3 weeks now and things have been going pretty good (knock on wood). When we got her she weighed 3lbs and she weighed 4lbs at her vet visit yesterday. Her Mom weighed 6lbs and her Dad weighed 4lbs so she shouldn't get too much larger than that. Like I said, things have been going good....the girls love her. Other than the occasional attempted snuff out from Aubrey (she likes to get a pillow and then lay on top of the dog with it [fabulous, I know]) they play together pretty well. Thank heaven Sophie isn't shy or timid, she holds her own with the girls and actually, at the vet yesterday there was huge St. Bernard (167lbs) that she had no problem getting nose to nose with- I wish I would have taken a picture! Anyway, here she is!
